11th MENA-SINO Congress 2026
Where the Nile Meets Neuroscience
Bridging Disciplines, Elevating Stroke and Neurointerventional Therapies
About the Congress
Advancing neurointervention and stroke care across the MENA region β from the eternal banks of the Nile in Luxor
“From the land of the Pharaohs, where human knowledge was first inscribed in stone, we gather once more to advance the frontiers of healing β where the eternal Nile has witnessed the birth of medicine itself.”β₯ Luxor, City of a Hundred Gates β 11th MENA-SINO Congress 2026
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is with immense honour and great excitement that we extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to the 11th MENA-SINO Congress 2026 β the pinnacle gathering for neurointervention specialists across our region and beyond, hosted in the legendary city of Luxor, Egypt, where the cradle of civilisation meets cutting-edge science.
This year’s theme, “Bridging Disciplines, Elevating Stroke and Neurointerventional Therapies,” captures the essence of our mission: to foster collaboration between neurologists, neurointerventionists, neurosurgeons, and neuroradiologists, while advancing stroke and neurointerventional care across the MENA region.
We have meticulously curated a programme that brings together leading experts, pioneering research, and cutting-edge technologies. From plenary sessions and focused workshops to thought-provoking panel discussions, every aspect of this congress is designed to spark innovation and inspire new approaches to stroke and neurovascular care.
Warm regards,
The Presidential Committee β 11th MENA-SINO Congress 2026
β₯ Where Ancient Wonder Meets Modern Science β₯
Karnak Temple Complex
The largest religious building ever constructed β its Sacred Lake and hypostyle hall embody eternity itself, just minutes from our congress venue.
Valley of the Kings
Sixty-three royal tombs carved into limestone cliffs β the eternal resting place of Tutankhamun and Ramesses the Great, on the Nile’s west bank.
The Sacred Nile
The lifeblood of civilisation β flowing from Aswan’s granite cataract through Luxor’s temples to the Mediterranean, unchanged since the pharaohs sailed it.
Luxor Temple by Night
Illuminated against the evening sky, Luxor Temple’s avenue of sphinxes and towering obelisks create an unforgettable atmosphere for evening excursions.
Aswan & Abu Simbel
A short journey south reveals Aswan’s Philae Temple rising from the Nile, and the colossal rock-cut faΓ§ade of Abu Simbel β Ramesses II’s eternal monument.
The Lotus of Upper Egypt
Symbol of rebirth and creation β the white lotus of the Nile inspired pharaonic medicine and art for millennia, echoing our congress theme of renewal in neuroscience.
